What is the difference between silk and satin?
Silk is a natural fibre spun by silkworms. Satin is a weave, which can be made from silk or from synthetic fibres such as polyester. Every product page on this store says which fibre it uses.
What does momme mean?
Momme is the unit silk is weighed in. The higher the number, the more silk goes into each square metre of fabric.
What is mulberry silk?
Silk from silkworms raised on mulberry leaves. Its filaments are long and even, which gives a smooth, consistent fabric.
How do I choose between the silk and satin ranges?
Choose silk for the natural fibre and its feel. Choose satin for a lower price and easier washing. Both have a smooth, lustrous face.
Can I order more than one?
Yes. Set the quantity on the product page or in the cart, up to 50 of an item per order.
Do you ship to PO boxes?
Contact us before ordering to a PO box so we can confirm the parcel can be delivered there.
